DRY ICE CLEANING

When employing dry ice cleaning methods high levels of surface effectiveness can be achieved in the majority of cases.

Depending on the working pressures involved, the nozzle geometry and the type of soiling, stripping rates of more than one square metre per minute are possible. In this innovative process, coatings and impurities with a thickness of between 1 mm and 10 mm can be stripped in a manner that goes easy on the surface.

The dry ice pellets are fired at the surface to be cleaned at almost the speed of sound, removing impurities without using chemical or abrasive materials in the process.

Due to the fact dry ice sublimes, only the dirt that has been removed is left over as a residue by contrast with many other blasting methods.

The method does not cause any damage to active electrical or mechanical parts. No risk of ignition or fire results due to the cleaning process. It is environmentally friendly due to the fact it does not contain any solvents or secondary harmful substances.

Manufacturing residues, release agents, contaminants, paints, oils and biofilms can be removed.
